Is this an overlay?
The toolbar is a visitor-controls layer, and we are honest about that. The difference from overlay vendors is what we claim: AX4E never says the toolbar alone makes you compliant. It is paired with scanning, monitoring and a clear path to real remediation by humans.
Does it make my website compliant?
No tool can guarantee ADA compliance, and you should be skeptical of any that says it can. AX4E Access gives visitors useful controls, finds machine-detectable issues, monitors progress and shows you exactly where human work is needed.
Does it change my underlying code?
No. The toolbar and monitoring are added with one script tag and never modify your source. Fixing underlying code, documents and content is remediation work AX4E can scope separately when you are ready.
Will it work with WordPress, Wix, Shopify and Squarespace?
Yes. If your platform lets you add a script tag, AX4E Access works. We include CMS-specific installation instructions and guided help if you get stuck.
Can my agency install it for clients?
Yes. Agencies managing three or more sites should look at the Agency plan for partner pricing, centralized management and co-branded reporting. Apply here.
What happens after I subscribe?
You get your install code and a short questionnaire about your website and CMS immediately. Most sites are live the same day. Your first scan runs within 24 hours, and your prioritized recommendations follow.
Can schools or governments use it?
Yes, as a starting point. Public entities face ADA Title II deadlines requiring WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, which no automated tool can deliver alone. Start with the toolbar and monitoring, then pair it with a Title II Readiness Review.
What work is not included in $39?
Manual audits, code remediation, PDF and document remediation, alt text authoring, training and governance programs are separate engagements. The $39 plan tells you what needs fixing, gives visitors useful controls and documents your progress.
Can AX4E remediate the issues it finds?
Yes. That is the point of the growth path. When your scan surfaces issues that need human hands, AX4E can scope expert review, code fixes, document remediation and training. Request a scope.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period, annual plans run their term. No long contracts and no cancellation calls.
